Broccoli Fritters
Ingredients
- 1 broccoli head cut into florets
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons minced onions
- 2 garlic cloves pressed
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons oil for frying
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the broccoli until it’s the size of fine couscous.
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, egg, onions, garlic, cheese, flour and seasoning. Stir until the mixture is well combined and moistened.
- Form the mixture into 1/2-inch thick patties, about 4 inches wide. It will make about 6 fritters.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry the fritters for about 10 minutes.
